(Provenance: The drawing was given by the artist to Hilda Gerrard, a friend and neighbour of Lowry whilst he was living in Pendlebury, Manchester, then by descent. Consigned by a family member to Capes Dunn & Co for sale by auction on 3rd August 2011. The lot is accompanied by receipt from Dealer who bought and sold on the picture 14/11/2011)
