PAIR OF NINETEENTH CENTURY OVERLAID AND HAND PAINTED CRANBERRY GLASS PEDESTAL VASES, each of ovoid form with waisted neck and moulded circular foot, well painted with oval, gilt lined panels depicting playful cherubs, flanked by stylised shell motifs and set on a gilt scrolled ground, 14 ¼” (36.2cm) high, one broken at the lower knop, clean break, now in two pieces, and both lacking covers, together with ANOTHER, SIMILAR VASE, with hand painted border in a similar taste, 14” (35.6cm) approx, broken at the joint between the base and main body and with related cracks, losses and aged wire repair (drilled in three places) to the main body and the base with associated three associated holes drilled and additional aged wire repair and re-touching to the gilding, beneath the previously mentioned break, (3)
